Theres zero waveform distortion and built-in overload protection and it regulates well, thanks to the continuously variable alternating current voltage and overvoltage tap. A low magnetising current and low operating torque make for a very efficient appliance. This transformer is part of RS PROs professional series of Varivolt transformers, which come in single as well as three-phase versions and a range of current settings. It can be surface or wall-mounted as well as fitted to the floor, with the screw terminals supplied for easy mounting.
