This cable from the RS PRO range is insulated with a silicone rubber outer jacket, making it highly flexible and resistant to fluids such as oils and acids. The twisted thermocouple and extension wire can be used down to -40?C and up to +200?C, although its not suitable for direct use in high-pressure steam. Its available in lengths of 50 m. Each twisted pair of these seven-stranded conductors has a cross-sectional area of 0.2 mm. The cables colour-coded cores and jacket indicate that its certified as a safe Tolerance Class 2 thermocouple cable and conforms to the IEC-584 standard. Whats more, the cable has been stringently tested to ensure it wont damage equipment via electrostatic discharge (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007).
