As the heaters are encased in brass, they offer excellent mechanical strength and protection. To ensure optimum performance from these products, its advised that you use temperature sensing and control elements with them. As part of the RS PRO series, the product is tested for quality and consistency. The heaters are commonly used in injection moulding machines in the manufacture of plastic components, where liquid plastic may pose problems to non-sealed mica heaters.
