The main functions of these contacts are separated. The internal contact body provides all the electrical and electro-mechanical functions while the steel cantilever spring both retains and protects the contact. This split function feature helps protect the contact against fatigue caused by vibration and mechanical stress. The electrical contact is made by a square 0.63 mm x 0.63 mm pin. The socket contact has four points of contact for high electrical performance and reliability. These MQS contacts are designed for safe handling and can be inserted safely into the contact cavities of the connector housing.
