The 30% glass-filled PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) material makes the housing sturdy and offers insulation resistance of 5,000 mΩ a minute at dc 500V. Its also heat-resistant, meaning this connector works between -45?C and +105?C. The plug has been rigorously tested to ensure it wont damage equipment via electrostatic discharge (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007).
