These probes are made of phosphor bronze and can be used in the testing of PCBs (printed circuit boards). Thanks to their concave tips, the spring-loaded probes are an ideal choice for testing long leads, terminals and wire wrap posts. To use the probes, youll need a receptacle, which can be ordered separately. Using separate probes and receptacles makes it easy to replace a damaged probe without disturbing the wiring. And as the probes can be push fitted into the mounting plate, its possible to achieve an airtight seal without the use of any adhesives.
