This male-to-male lead has a 68-position male connector at each end, providing effective transmission of data signals. The SCSI cable assembly has thumbscrew-type fasteners for easy connection. They also stop the lead becoming loose or disconnecting once its attached. The connectors are fully moulded onto the cable and are shielded against radio frequency interference (RFI) and electromagnetic interference (EMI). The cables grey insulating PVC (polyvinyl chloride) jacket protects it from damage and can withstand temperatures of +80°C.
