It has a tough tubular steel frame that houses the hub measuring 460 mm in diameter ??this helps you avoid exceeding the minimum bend radius of your cables when winding. A friction brake on the hub comes complete with an integral winding handle. You can cut the detachable plastic hub plate on the blue reel to accommodate panel-mount connectors. Strain relief is provided by the internal clamp that fixes the cable to the unit.
