Its design is based around a moving magnet and a fixed reed switch with a low flow restriction. This switch is designed to be used in liquids only and should not be used in systems with significant amounts of solid particles. This flow switch can be mounted horizontally or vertically and has minimal flow restriction. It is ideally used in water but can be used in weak acidic liquids.
