The polyethylene terephthalate glycol (PETG) sheet combines the flexibility of plastic with a Shore D 78 hardness rating, so it can withstand high-impact knocks and drops. It also has good chemical resistance and 0% water absorption, protecting contents from damage from moisture, solvents, or contamination. The material retains these benefits at temperatures as low as -29°C, so its suitable for frozen products. The plastic sheet is FDA approved for food and drug use and is UL 94 HB certified, so its self-extinguishing in the event of a fire.
