Ensure you have the correct impedance-rated cable to match the SMA connector, in this case, 50 Ω. 2. Slide the tubular body from the connector over the cable 3. Measure 14 mm from the tip of the cable, strip, and remove the outer jacket. 4. Fold the braided mesh layer back over the outer jacket 5. Measure 5 mm from the tip of the inner jacket, strip to reveal the central conductor 6. Slide the crimp ferrule over the conductor wires until it meets the hole pin visible inside the connector. 7. Solder for a few seconds (do not over heat) 8. Insert the cap 9. Fold the braided mesh forward, slide the tubular body forward with a firm push. Remove access braid. 10.
