It works by creating a temporary EPA (electrostatic discharge protected area). Youll often find it in commercial settings, such as server rooms. Inside this pack, theres a mat with dimensions of 600 mm (L) x 600 mm (W). Theres also a wrist band and two ground cords. The straight ground cord is connected to the mat and the earth terminal of the equipment due to be serviced. The coiled ground cord is connected to the mat and the wrist band. Like all of our RS PRO range, this ESD field kit has been tested by engineers for durability and consistency. It comes with a handy pouch for safe storage and transportation. The set is RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant, so contains minimal hazardous materials.
