Use this feeler gauge when you need to adjust a spherical roller bearing and want to check the radial internal clearance. How do I use this feeler gauge? Rotate the roller cage assembly until the top is at 12 oclock. Insert the thinnest blade between the highest spot on the rollers and the outer raceway. Move it back and forth in a sawing motion. If theres no resistance, move onto thicker blades until you feel resistance.
