The infrared temperature sensor is extremely small, with a side-entry cable making it ideal for mounting in tight spaces. Featuring configurable parameters for temperature range, alarm output and emissivity settings to give full control of temperature sensing requirements. The infrared temperature sensor measures the average temperature within a spot. The size of the spot will depend on the distance between the IR sensor and the surface. The sensor's measuring range is very wide, it can be positioned very close to the target surface, to measure a small area, or used at long distances measuring a larger spot.
