They are designed for applications which require high stability in harsh environments. SCC2000 gyro sensors are available in single axis X or Z axis gyroscope and 3 axis accelerometer. Therefore they can detect acceleration and angular rate in all 3 sensing axis directions. They also feature an SPI digital interface and an extensive range of self-diagnostics features. Suitable applications include; IMUs in harsh environments, machine control systems, hill start assist and navigation systems.
