Commonly found in industrial environments, these type of heating elements are well-suited to manufacturing, packaging and printing applications, for example. The heating element has a nickel-chromium resistance wire for improved longevity, and a TIG-welded end disc to prevent contamination and moisture absorption. Its designed to slide easily into holes that you can drill with metric or imperial drill sizes ??note, however, that the element needs to be fitted snugly to operate correctly. The lead wire is insulated with fibreglass to withstand temperatures up to +450°C. The flexible lead has deep holes punctured into a ceramic cap at the end to keep it from fraying when bent.
