The device family has dual power rails, one analogue one digital. The Analogue power rail can handle up to +36 V and can be implemented as a dual rail (±18 V) relative to the digital logic ground. The MCP45HVx1 has a Write Latch (WLAT) function that inhibits the volatile wiper register from being updated (latched) with received data until the WLAT pin is low. This allows the specification of a condition where the volatile wiper register is updated (such as zero crossing). Features.
