The work-piece is clamped securely in between the large capacity parallel jaw of the vice, to ensure even the most difficult drilling jobs can be carried successfully without any movement when the drill bit touches the surface of the work-piece. The RS PRO drill press vice frame and movable parts are made from special cast iron, with the jaws made from hardened alloy steel.
