It has been designed to be connected to stabilised 24V DC power supplies with an output current up to 3A and split between four load circuits. The rated current for each output can be set individually with a potentiometer to the required range. If the rated current is exceeded for a certain time, the output will be switched off automatically and can be switched on after a waiting time using the modules pushbutton or the remote reset. The pushbutton can also be used to switch the output manually. Advantages of a selectivity module A power supply unit (PSU) cannot guarantee a fault-free supply when used on its own. The selectivity module offers reliable detection of overload or short-circuit in the circuit.
