The box has five knockouts, with three on one face and two on another face at a right angle to the first. Its made from galvanised steel for corrosion resistance. The lid is held on by four M5 x 8mm mushroom head screws. As part of the stringently tested RS PRO range, the box has been stringently tested by leading engineers. It conforms to BS4568 as a safe and effective steel fitting, as well as ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 Electrostatic Control Standards. Its also RoHS compliant, meaning it contains only minimal levels of hazardous substances.
