Inverters are delivered without Control Panel, please order seperate. Motors may require de-rating when used in conjunction with motor speed controllers, as their cooling fans may not provide sufficient cooling when running slower, please contact ABB if help is required. ACS310 Fan and Pump specialist - 3 phase Input variable speed drive (VSD). The dive is programmed with parameters, and like all ABB drives, the parameters are organised into logical groups. The software set inside the drive id packed with features that allow multiple pumps and fans to be controlled in simple or complicated operations. The software also supports a wide range of cleaning and maintenance functions dedicated to these applications, and the timer functions (when assistant keypad fitted) can be used to control the drive at different times of the day. To aid set-up, it is possible to select pre-defined macros which configure the specialised control features by selecting just 1 parameter from a list. Macros include some simple popular start/stop configurations, PID control, where a plant variable can be used to control any measurable variable, PFC (Pump and Fan Control), where multiple pumps can be sequenced to control a pressure or flow setpoint, SPFC (Soft Pump and Fan Control), where additional parameters can be set to control rate of change of pressure. The drives also have pre-programmed protection functions such as pipe cleaning for preventive maintenance. The motor control is scalar control, which is ideal for this drive as its software has been developed to effectively control fans and pumps to an Expert level. The drive design includes a powerful set of features which benefit pump and fan systems and their extended applications, both from a control and protection perspective. If requiring a machinery drive, please select the ACS355. Features and benefits. Dedicated fan and pump control features Logical parameter set with short and long views, accessed by a choice of keypads Control via I/O, or Embedded Modbus EIA-485 fieldbus interface Pump and fan features such as Pump and Fan Control (PFC), control multiple DOL pumps from 1 drive. SPFC, Soft PFC ideal for irrigation systems or for improved leak prevention Pipe cleaning functions to automatically clean blocking pumps (Anti-Ragging) Real Time Clock (RTC) when assistant keypad fitted, operations can be triggered using the internal timed functions Energy efficiency calculators, calculate the energy the drive saves in real time Energy optimiser, let the drive determine the lowest cost of running the fan or pump Load analyser for optimised dimensioning of the drive, motor and process Multiple mounting configurations: wall or DIN Rail, back or side, IP20 rated Unified height and depth across the sizes makes cabinet design easy (cable trays run parallel) Can be programmed in the box with FlashDrop tool (stock no.621-1329), allowing fast and easy drive set-up and commissioning for volume manufacturing without needing to apply power to the drive The ABB logo clip can also be removed for OEM ??s wishing to brand label Please see the data sheets for dimensions etc. "ABB ACS310 drives bring a number of benefits: Dedicated specialised fan and pump controller Timed functions allow the drive to operate differently at different times of the day (requires assistant keypad) Improves motor speed control compared to DOL, less issues with leaks etc. Choice of keypads to suite the budget Helps to eliminate starting, stopping and blockage problems in pump systems May be networked with other automation equipment (via I/O and Modbus) Sophisticated motor protection and control Sophisticated maintenance triggers"
