Each probe has a spring-loaded tip with a serrated head, which makes it ideal for test lands, pads and leads, as the sharp points penetrate the material and provide excellent electrical contact. The probes are made of phosphor bronze and can be used for testing a printed circuit board (PCB). Theyre used with a receptacle, which can be ordered separately. This combination makes it easier for you to replace a damaged probe without disturbing the wiring. The receptacles can be push-fitted into the mounting plate to provide an airtight seal without the use of any adhesives.
