This special function module fits on to the right-hand side of the base unit and occupies 8 I/O points. With this module, FX3U PLCs can exchange data quickly and easily with SCADA systems in addition to supporting program upload/download and monitoring. This provides comprehensive data and alarm processing to the Profibus/DP V1 standard and is easily set up with the GX configurator DP software.
