This allows the system to be extended to up to 104 inputs or outputs. In this way the function of up to 6 safety relays can be replaced and wiring, programming and space can all be saved. The control category in accordance with EN 954-1 or the SIL in accordance with EN 61508 depends on the external circuit. Corresponds to up to control category 4 in accordance with EN 954-1; applications can reach up to SIL3 in accordance with IEC 61508. The emergency stop function corresponds to stop category 0 or 1 in accordance with,EN 60204-1.
