Although not as commonplace in the computer industry as it once was, its robust design lends itself to challenging environments like manufacturing plants and factories. A metallised moulded cover on the registered jack (RJ) adapter provides cleaner data transmission by keeping out any electromagnetic interference. The colour-coded crimp contacts are ready for loading as needed. Once assembled, the D-Sub connector simply snaps into its adapter cover. You can easily install the socket in a panel by tightening the jack screws using your fingers ??no tools required. As part of the RS PRO range, this adapter has been exhaustively tested for reliability and quality.
