It measures 300 mm in length and 30 mm in diameter and has a high tensile strength of 180 MPa. Made from PEEK GF30, its resistant to chemicals, hydrolysis, abrasion, radiation and other harsh environmental conditions. Its electrically insulating and is safe for use at temperatures up to +260°C. Part of the RS PRO series, this product has been tested for safety and reliability. Its rated UL 94 V-0 by international science safety company Underwriters Laboratories, meaning its self-extinguishing within 10 seconds. It also meets the Deutsches Institut für Normung (DIN, or German Institute of Standardisation) and American Society for Testing and Materials standards for the testing of plastics and elastomers.
