This halogen-free EPDM synthetic rubber membrane cable gland will stop your cables from twisting, coming out of their enclosures while connected to other equipment and chafing against the edges of a cable entry point. The gland has a thread size of M16 and can accept cable diameters from 5 mm to 9 mm. It will keep out dust and moisture and is rated IP67, meaning its dust- and moisture-resistant. Whats more, its suitable for use in temperatures from -40°C to +110°C and is halogen-free, so it wont release dangerous compounds if it catches fire. Part of our stringently tested RS PRO range, this gland can be used in a range of applications from telecommunications to instrumentation.
