Ensure you have the correct impedance-rated cable to match the SMA connector, in this case, 50 Ω. 2. Slide the tubular body from the connector over the cable 3. Measure 10 mm from the tip of the cable, strip, and remove the outer jacket. 4. Fold the braided mesh layer back over the outer jacket 5. Measure 3 mm from the tip of the inner jacket, strip to reveal the central conductor 6. Place the contact pin over the conductor then crimp together using the right hole size on the crimp tool 7. Slide the crimp ferrule over the contact and push firmly until the pin is visible inside the connector. 8. Fold the braided mesh forward, slide the tubular body forward with a firm push. 9.
