By injecting direct current into your AC motors winding, the module neutralises the electromagnetic field and the motor stops rotating. This braking module is often found in industrial settings such as workshops and factories. An injection braking system is commonly used as an alternative to a friction braking system. With adjustable braking times and torques, you can optimise performance to fit the needs of your equipment. Generally, braking function will start within 0.6 seconds. The small brake module mounts onto a 35 mm symmetrical DIN (Deutsche Institut für Normung or German Institute of Standardisation) rail. Please note, this brake module is designed for use as a production brake and should not be used in emergency situations.
