These high-quality toggle switches offer a double pole double throw contact configuration that has two inputs and four outputs, 10A or 12A contact current ratings, and an operating temperature of -30°C to +85°C. RS PRO DPDT toggle switches are designed with screw or solder tab termination for PCB applications.Why would you need a DPDT type toggle switch?DPDT toggles are commonly used to control electric motors and electric linear actuators for example; giving you the capacity to reverse the polarity in the motor so it rotates in two different directions.Handling & StoragePrevent terminal oxidization on the switches by storing products in an environment that is dry and cool with relative humidity less than 90%.
