The glass wire wicking tape is an ideal solution to be used within oil burning appliances due to its ability to be resistant to high temperatures. RS PRO has designed this tape to be reinforced with wire throughout for durability and additional strength making it ideal for a variety of environments. Features and Benefits This RS PRO tape is resistant to high temperatures with its continuous use limit being 600°C and its melting point being 840°C The tape is resistant to attacks from most corrosive agents making it ideal for even the harshest environments Reinforced with tinned copper wire the tape has added strength and durability for a long-life span Excellent chemical stability Inorganic, sterile and incombustible meaning it is sturdy and suitable for many different applications Resistant to oils, solvents and most chemicals Applications The RS Pro 25mm wire reinforced glass wick and 25m coil with 600 to 800 kg/m³ average density. It is white in colour. This wire reinforced glass wick resists attack from most corrosive agents.
