Its simple design means it has no moving mechanical parts or seals, so it can be used underwater. When supplied with permanent pressure, the unit acts as a cushioning component to absorb shock and reduce the noise of a moving cylinder. A driving force is achieved when the bellows are provided with both a pressure and exhaust function. The units design makes it suitable to install at low heights, so it slots into spaces where its not possible to fit a regular pneumatic cylinder.
