It meets DIN (Deutsches Institut für Nurmung, German Institute for Standardization) and ASTM-D (American Society for Testing and Materials) standards for plastic and elastomer testing. A UL 94 V-0 flammability rating from the science safety company Underwriters Laboratories means its flame-retardant.
