Its also low-friction and low-adhesion and has excellent dielectric properties, making it a good choice for insulation. You can safely use it at temperatures of up to +260°C, and its rated as flame-retardant according to international science safety company Underwriters Laboratories standard UL 94 V-0. It also meets standards for plastic and elastomer testing according to the German Institute for Standardization (Deutsches Institut für Nurmung, DIN) and the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM).
