The base and lid of this general purpose protective enclosure is manufactured from ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene), offering excellent chemical corrosion resistance in its solid state, as well as scratch resistance and shock absorbance. This two part durable enclosure is supplied with a silicon gasket and four screws, offering an IP65 rating ensuring protection from water and dust ingress. The enclosure lid is also manufactured with a recess, making it ideal for membrane keypads or overlays. The lid can be securely attached to the base via thread brass inserts, ensuring easy and reliable assembly. IP (Ingress Protection) levels refer to the level of protection materials such as an electrical enclosure has against solids such as dust, debris and liquids.
