시리즈 Safety Contactors. The DILMS series of safety contactors from Eaton offer reliable switching in safety-related device applications. As standard, all versions of the DILMS safety contactor are equipped with a top-mounted auxiliary contact, to stop tampering and prevent manual actuation this is non-detachable. For added safety, this contactor has integrated mirror contacts and interlocking opposite contacts. With a built-in inspection window placed immediately above the switch position indicator, it's easy to monitor the operating status of your control systems at all times. This contactor has a yellow cover to allow for fast and efficient identification of your safety devices. The dependable design of this contactor provides the perfect solution for the protection of your devices from manual activation. Available in four sizes the DILMS range of contactors cover a power range between 7 and 150 A. This series also features the DILAS safety relays which are available in three different coil voltages to complete your safety system. Features and Benefits. Safe status monitoring of the contactor (inspection window) manual activation is not possible Eligible to be used for Emergency-stop application with controlled start (category 4) Reliable and self-monitoring machine-control circuits Interlocking opposing contacts Mirror contacts Highlighted in yellow (RAL1004) Reliable screw terminals Top-mounted and non-detachable auxiliary contact (at the front). Typical Applications. Contactors can be used across a multitude of applications, users will commonly find these contactors being used within industrial settings such as factory automation and control, railway transportation, electrical systems, electric motor, lighting, and mechanical engineering and are a key component when safety functions and the protection of equipment and users are a requirement. Is a Safety Contactor or Safety Relay required?. When deciding whether to use a contactor or a relay for a safety circuit there are some general rules to help make the decision easier. A contactor should be used when the current is 9A or more, up to 1000 V ac and can be used for 1 or 3 phase safety applications. A relay should be used when the current is 10A or less, up to 250 V ac and usually on single-phase safety applications.
