This in-line connector has a 13A current rating per contact. It features a retention plate system allowing insertion/extraction of the contacts without the need for tooling. It has an adaptor with electrical PG thread for PG backshells with 1/2 turn bayonet coupling allowing a quick-connection to the system. This connector has thermoplastic housing with gold plated copper alloy contacts. Clipper series Plastic industrial connectors, which provide sealing to IP67. The system offers connector shells with a retention plate system, allowing easy insertion/extraction of the crimp contacts without tooling. Contacts to be purchased separately. The cable mount sockets can accept straight cable clamps, conduit adaptors or sealing glands giving great flexibility in usage. For added safety the connectors are designed to be scoop proof: in that, they may be coupled and uncoupled without the risk of damaging contacts, even if blind mating is necessary. High-density formats are available using 1mm contacts.
