The blocks come in a range of sizes and can be used to calibrate micrometres and calipers up to 250 mm. The individual gauge block sizes included in this set will check the accuracy of a micrometre spindle and measuring faces in five different rotational positions between 0 mm and 25 mm. This ensures the precision of both the screw and parallelism of the contact faces. A calibration certificate from UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) guarantees the quality of the components. The gauge blocks in this set have been heat-treated to improve wear resistance.
