Test failure can indicate faults like overheating, energy loss, protective fault device malfunction and poor grounding. It checks for compliance with ESD TR53 as per ANSI/ESD S20.20, which is the recognised international standard for protection from damage due to electrostatic discharge (ESD). The tester is equipped with pass/fail audio and visual indicators to confirm that the device being tested meets the required limit. Simply connect or touch the tester end to a banana jack or other equipment being tested, press and hold until the indicator activates. A 1.8 m-long coiled cord ensures ease of use in the field.
