The black conductive strip is bordered by bright yellow material to offer excellent visibility and support the enforcement of an ESD-control programme. Using a pressure-sensitive adhesive, the strip sticks to the heels of boots or shoes. The grounders should be worn on each foot to ensure maximum ESD-grounding protection. The conductive ribbon should have good electrical contact with the persons body, either touching their skin or through their socks. Sold in packs of 100, the single-use grounders are 14 mm in width and 298 mm in length.
