It protects wires and cables against damage from chemicals, abrasion and fluids. The thin wall design allows the tubing to be used where space and weight are limited. It is ideal for high-temperature environments as it is specially designed for long term heat resistance and flame retardance. Heat-shrinkable, flexible, chemical and abrasion resistant tubing: Flame-retardant system 25 tubing shrink ratio has a 2:1 shrink ratio. It provides an optimum, high-temperature fluid resistance and long-term heat resistance. It offers resistance to aviation and diesel fuels, hydraulic fluids and lubricating oils. It is particularly suitable as a jacketing material for vehicle cables and harnesses. It is also well suited for the demands of motorsport cable harnesses.
